Philippe Fissore

Fissore draws inspiration from the early Italian Renaissance and the major creative movements of the 20th century (Braque, Matisse, Modigliani). His work combines mixed media: pencils, inks, pastels, acrylics and collages. Construction and deconstruction intertwine in an intuitive approach where painting and drawing serve fantasy and imagination.

Based in Montluçon, he is a permanent artist at the Shakers artistic residence and a member of the Friends of the Arts Association of Montluçon.
